We propose a wide range of mountings- Ball bearings :
The ball bearings are assembled in housings machined in the inner diameter of 3RC profile or in reinforced rigid plates. The aim is to realize an idler roller which will be used with a passing through fixed shaft or 2 shafts ends.
There are 8 standard version in the Roll Concept's range :
- RI : Ball bearings in housings machined in the inner Ø with radial ball bearings and reinforced sealing.
- RIO : Ball bearings in housings machined in the inner Ø with self-aligning ball bearings and reinforced sealing.
- RIX : Ball bearings in housings machined in the inner Ø with radial ball bearings and low friction.
- RIOX : Ball bearings in housings machined in the inner Ø with self-aligning ball bearings and low friction.
- RE : Radial bearings in reinforced rigid plates with radial ball bearings and reinforced sealing.
- REO : Radial bearings in reinforced rigid plates with self-aligning ball bearings and reinforced sealing.
- REX : Radial bearings in reinforced rigid plates with radial ball bearings and low friction.
- REOX : Radial bearings in reinforced rigid plates with self-aligning ball bearings and low friction.
- BMC : Ball bearings glued in external rigid plates with radial ball bearings with seals.
- BMCX : Ball bearings glued in extrenal rigid plates with radial ball bearings with shields an extended play
- PNB : Set of 2 ball bearings per side in external rigid plates with radial ball bearings with seals.
- PNBX : Set of 2 ball bearings per side in external rigid plates with radial ball bearings with shields an extended play
- Fixed shafts for idler rollers :
Roll Concept offers complete fixed shafts in steel C40 rectified to nominal Ø h7 tolerance. The ends are machined following requests. We propose 6 more frequent versions, but some others can be imagined !

- Live shaft ends assemblies :
Rollers assembled with live shaft allow a huge variety of versions and ease adaptations to existing installations. As the finishing of live shafts is at customer requests, this king of assembly is convenient either for free or driven applications.
Roll Concept customises the live shafts following your drawing or specifications. The 2 live shafts can have different dimensions.
We are able to assemble the shafts in different ways depending on the application and the production process :
- Heating the inner Ø (+120°C / 248°F)
- Gluing
- Cooling the shaft with liquid nitrogen (-196°C / -320°F)
- Combined heating the inner Ø + cooling the shaft
